We are gathered here today to remember the life of Christina Thorberry, who was born on 09/06/1950 and passed away on 12/27/2025 in Norfolk, Virginia.
Christina attended I.C. Norcom High School, where they must have learned some interesting things judging by their knack for storytelling. After school, Christina dedicated their life to working as a Pastor and helping others through their hard times by preaching. Her passion for singing brought joy to many, although her family would have preferred they stick to shower performances.
Christina’s sense of humor was unmatched, always quick with a joke or a witty remark. She had a way of making everyone around Her laugh, even in the most challenging of times. Her laughter was infectious, and her smile could light up a room.
The cause of death was Asthma, proving that even the strongest among us can be taken down by something as seemingly harmless as a pesky lung condition. Christina fought bravely until the end, proving that their spirit was as strong as their convictions.
Christina leaves behind their beloved child, Terrsita Armstrong, who inherited her parent's gift of gab and love for music. They also leave behind two adoring grandchildren Diamond Armstrong and Akia Armstrong, who will surely carry on the Thorberry legacy of laughter and love.
While we mourn the loss of Christina, let us also celebrate the joy they brought to the world. Their memory will live on through the stories they shared, the songs they sang, and the laughter they inspired.
Rest in peace, Christina Thorberry. May your jokes always land, and your songs always hit the right note.
