It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Christia Siegel on May 23, 2025. Born on July 10, 1991, Christia lived a life full of questionable choices and peculiar hobbies in New London, Ohio.
She was the beloved daughter of Hugh Janus and Ophelia Cox, and the loving spouse of Berry McCoiner, who she married in the year 2000. Together, they had three children - Wilma, Bambam, and Pebbles.
Christia spent her days working as a knob polisher at Knobs and More, where she found great joy in making those knobs shiny. Her colleagues often remarked on her unique approach to knob polishing and her unwavering dedication to the craft.
Outside of work, Christia had a passion for smoking crack, which she claimed helped her relax and unwind after a long day of polishing knobs. Her friends and family always tried to convince her to find a healthier hobby, but Christia was adamant that crack was her one true love.
Unfortunately, Christia's love for adventure and lack of common sense ultimately led to her untimely demise. She met her end after foolishly approaching a mountain lion and saying "here kitty kitty" one too many times. It seems even the most dedicated knob polisher is no match for the wild animals of New London.
While Christia's passing may have come as a shock to some, those who knew her best can only shake their heads and say, "That sounds about right." Rest in peace, Christia Siegel, may you find all the shiny knobs and crack your heart desires in the afterlife.
