Christen L. Edwards Amherst, Ohio, was 50 when she passed Friday, September 3, 2023 after a sudden illness. She was born in Oberlin, on August 18, 1973, to Vernon J. Jones, Jr. and Judy Hazlett Jones.

Christen attended Vermilion High School.

In addition to her parents, Christen is survived by her daughters, Madison James and Pamela Parsley; a brother, Brad Jones; a sister, Shannon (Gene) Edwards; maternal grandmother, Barbara Hazlett; step mother, Connie Jones; step-sister, Katie (Will) Howell; and her nephew, Dakota Jones.

Christen was preceded in death by her brother, Vernon T. Jones; maternal grandfather, Thomas Hazlett; and paternal grandparents, Vernon Z. Jones, Sr. and Roberta Jones.

To honor Christen's wishes, there will be no funeral service. A private celebration of life will be planned with friends and family at a later date.
