Chris Chapman (56), long-time resident of San Antonio, passed away on May 15th, 2023. He was born on January 18th, 1965 to Olle and Shirley Chapman in a small town in the Midwest. Chris was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his beloved partner, Vicky Chapman, their two children Carly Hansen (spouse Brad Hansen) and Bree Helsing (spouse Tom Helsing), and two grandchildren.

Chris attended Helix High School and graduated in 1983. After graduation, he began his career at Okay Water District, where he worked for over 30 years and was highly regarded by his colleagues for his dedication and work ethic.

Chris was known for his love of nature and the great outdoors. He spent many weekends camping, hiking, and fishing with his family. In his free time, he enjoyed tinkering with cars and was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. He was well-liked by everyone who knew him, and his positive attitude and infectious smile will be deeply missed.

On May 15th, 2023, Chris passed away after a courageous battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his loving family and will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all who knew him.
