We mourn the passing of Chinedu Brown, born on June 3, 1942, in Onitsha, Anambra, Nigeria. Chinedu peacefully departed from this world on March 11, 2026, surrounded by friends and family.
Chinedu dedicated many years of his life to serving as a Chief Magistrate before retiring in 2006. He was known for his dedication and commitment to his work, leaving behind a legacy of integrity and fairness.
Aside from his professional life, Chinedu had a passion for car maintenance work and farming. He found joy in working with his hands and taking care of his vehicles and crops.
Chinedu is survived by his loving spouse, Angelina Brown, whom he married in 1969. Together, they raised six children: Chimdi, Ifechukwu, Mesa, Okwudili, Elizabeth, and Nwamaka. Chinedu also leaves behind thirteen grandchildren, Benjamin, Uche, Adaugo, Nichole, Gabrielle, Elisa, Odi Jr, Tomisin, Ifi, Ikechi, Okokwo, Angelina, and Chisom, who brought him immense joy and pride.
In his old age, Chinedu's health began to decline, and it was with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to this beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend. May his soul rest in peace.
Funeral Progressions are being held on March 22 at his family home in Onitsha North. Friends and family are welcome to attend this solemn occasion.
