Morgen, CharlotteCharlotte Immel Morgen passed away unexpectedly on June 18, 2017. Charlotte was born on May 10, 1936 to Reuben Roehl and Eugenie Roehl Schnitzler. She married Raymond "Bud" Immel on August 7, 1954. She later married Earl Morgen on February 9, 1985.Charlotte graduated from Goodrich High School in 1954. Shortly after graduation she traveled to Germany where she lived for 18 months while Bud was serving in the Army. Upon returning home she spent the next stage of her life as a full time housewife and mother. This was truly a job filled with love and dedication. After raising her children, she worked part time for the school district, for the Register of Deeds and Wells Manufacturing. She spent many years caring for others whether it be taking them on errands or cleaning their house. Charlotte was a very compassionate person and always had time to help others. In her younger years she enjoyed riding with Bud on their motorcycle with their friends, The Paradice Riders.Charlotte and Earl lived in the Village of Mt. Calvary where they took great pride in their home and enjoyed spending time on their front porch with neighbors and friends.Charlotte was the glue to our families. Her family was very important to her. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Fond du Lac.She was always cleaning and loved Gillieburgers. As a joke, she would say, "When I die, send along a dust rag and a Gillieburger." Her greatest joy was her great granddaughter, Claire, whose pictures took up the most room on the refrigerator.Charlotte is survived by her husband Earl Morgen, her son Rick (Jayne) Immel and her daughter Sherri (Larry) Roxbury, three grandchildren Jaime (Chad) Gunderson, Ryan Roxbury and Sara (Tony) Crook, one great granddaughter Claire Gunderson. She is further survived by one sister Carol (Larry) Merrill, stepfather Andrew Schnitzler, stepchildren Judy (Steve) Tracy, Jeff Morgen, Mike (Paula) Morgen and James (Karin) Morgen, step grandchildren Christian Smith, Heather Marquardt, Jason Morgen, Bradley Morgen, Makenzie Morgen, step greatgrandchildren Madeline, Joey, Jack and Sophie, brother and sister-in-law Tony (Bobbie) Morgen and sister and brother-in-law Mary Ann (John) Rauguth and many nieces and nephews.Charlotte was preceded in death by her first husband, Raymond Immel, her parents, brother and sister-in-law Eugene (Lucille) Roehl, her granddaughter Leslie Immel Smith, great granddaughter Jocelyn Rose Smith and her nephew Jeffrey Merrill.Visitation: Charlotte's family welcomes relatives and friends at Zacherl Funeral Home, 875 E.
