Charlotte “C.J.” Jean Smith, 53, of Brazil, Indiana, passed away at her home on May 8, 2020 following a long battle with cancer.

C.J. was born on July 15, 1966, in Ohio, the daughter of George and Sandra (Sensel) Bridgeman. She married Mike Smith on July 14, 2017. She worked as a bartender at the Catalina Sports Bar, in Indianapolis and Club 42 in Cunot. She also worked at Peerless Pump for a short time.

C.J. loved fishing, swimming, and shopping. She especially looked forward to “girls night” with her dear friends Sara and Kalyn.

She is survived by her husband Mike Smith of Brazil, her parents: George and Sandra Bridgeman of Indianapolis, her sister Anita Bridgeman of Indianapolis, life-long friends Christine Bryant of Indianapolis and Sandy Doty of Poland and her beloved fur babies Lilly, Cooper, Snickers, and Jasmine.
