On April 2, 2025, the world said goodbye to a beloved member of the Ada community, Charlie Harjo. Born on March 25, 1943, in Ada, Oklahoma, Charlie lived a fulfilling life filled with laughter, love, and adventure.

Charlie attended Byng High School, where they excelled both academically and socially. They had a passion for learning and a natural curiosity about the world around them.

Outside of school, Charlie's hobbies included fishing, nature walks, and caring for their family. They found peace and joy in the great outdoors and cherished every moment spent exploring the beauty of Oklahoma.

Charlie was a devoted parent to four children, who brought endless love and joy into their life. Their children will always remember Charlie's kindness, patience, and unwavering support.

Though Charlie may no longer be with us, their memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved them.
