Charles N. Wilson Jr. Oct. 10, 1944 - Nov. 12, 2016 Charles N. Wilson, Jr. passed away peacefully on Saturday Nov. 12th surrounded by his family.  Charles was born on Oct. 10th, 1944 in Coffeeville, Kansas.  He lived most of his childhood in Tulsa, OK with his parents Joe and Cora Hubbard and his younger brother Paul Wilson. Charles went on to serve his country in the U.S. Air Force for 26 years and then 12 years with the Merced County Sheriff's Correctional Dept.  He successfully retired from both.  Charles is survived by his loving wife, Yvonne Wilson of Harpenden England, and his two daughters Nicola Wilson of Garden Grove, CA and Melanie McGill of Las Vegas, NV.  Charles is also survived by his son in law, Willie McGill Jr., along with 5 grand children and 8 great grand children. Charles loved to watch golf, football and many other sports.  He was a true Dallas Cowboys and Oklahoma Sooner fan.  Charles "Chuck" throughly enjoyed his days on the golf course with his close friends. Charles will be interred with full military honors 12:30 pm on Nov. 29th, 2016 at Santa Nella Veterans Cemetery, Santa Nella, CA.  Following the service, an informal memorial gathering will be held at the 19th Hole banquet room at the Rancho Del Rey Golf Course Atwater, CA.   In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation be made in his honor to the Mercy Medical Center Merced in Merced CA. www.cvobituaries.com
