Charles J. Richter1932 - 2016Charles J. Richter, 83, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2016, at Kenosha Hospital.He was born on May 9, 1932, to the late William and Stella (Carl) Richter in Kenosha. He was educated in the schools of Kenosha. He attended Wayne State College. Chuck entered the US Army National Guard in 1953. He served during the Korean War era and was honorably discharged in 1955.On Sept. 19, 1953, he married Margery A. Piehl at Grace Lutheran Church.Chuck worked as a general foreman in the pressroom at AMC/Chrysler for 27 years.Chuck is survived by his loving wife Margery; daughter Linda (Dave) Sebetic, son Todd (Julie) Richter, and their families; his brother Arthur Richter of California and his sister Shirley (Eugene) Blasi of Kenosha.He is preceded in death by two brothers, Elton and William; and a sister Jean Leach.Funeral Services for Chuck will be held on Saturday, Feb. 27, at 5 p.m. at the Bruch Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Saturday afternoon from 3 p.m. until the time of service.
