Thomas, Charles "Skip" Martin Charles (Skip) Martin Thomas, 79, passed away at home with his family, on June 6th 2017. He was born on December 17, 1939 in Portland Oregon. He spent his early years in Texas and has lived in Phoenix for the last 70 years. Skip's passion was automobiles. He worked as an automobile mechanic for years. Then, he owned and operated an after-market auto air conditioning business called Staf Auto Refrigeration. He traveled the country with his wife later in his life buying and selling new old stock Ford car parts. At the time of his death he was restoring a 1937 Ford Coupe. He is survived by his wife Marla, daughter Dina (husband Kim) sons Chuck and Dean (wife Maria), granddaughter Amber (husband Taylor) and great grandson Blake. He was preceded in death by his grandson Ryan. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, June 20th at 7:00 p.m. at Advantage Funeral Services 6901 West Indian School Road, Phoenix, Arizona 85033.
