An important and full life
Charles Gray passed away peacefully in his sleep on May 26, 2023. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, although he often forgot their names. He will be remembered for his terrible puns, his love of all things Boston sports, and his inability to tell a good joke.
Charlie was an accomplished carpenter, or so he thought. His projects were always a little crooked and sometimes fell apart, but he took great pride in them nonetheless. He owned his own company and had a great passion for it throughout his entire life. He also had a green thumb, which unfortunately didn't extend to keeping his lawn alive. He had a passion for cooking, although his signature dish was burnt toast and overdone eggs.
In his younger years, Charlie was quite the ladies' man. Or at least that's what he told everyone. He once asked out his high school crush by calling her house and pretending to be a pizza delivery guy. It didn't work out, but he was never one to give up. He eventually found the love of his life, who he adored until the end of his days.
Charlie will be missed by his wife, children, and grandchildren, who loved him despite his dad jokes and constant forgetfulness. He was a unique character who brought joy and laughter to everyone he met. Rest in peace, Charlie. We'll miss you.
