Charles Leland "Chuck" Whitehair, 59ALBANY - Charles Leland "Chuck" Whitehair, 59, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 29, 2016.Chuck was born on January 5, 1957, the son of Paul Joseph "Joe" Whitehair Sr. and Louise (Fox) Whitehair of Albany. Chuck was a 6th generation farmer in the Albany area who was dedicated to agriculture. He was a Delta High School graduate and attended Ball State University. Chuck devoted his entire life to his family and loved his community. He was a member of the Albany United Methodist Church, Strong Cemetery Association Board, Delaware County Drainage Board, and Albany Lions Club. Chuck is survived by his wife of thirty-one years, Susan (Rhodes) Whitehair; four daughters, Abi (Whitehair) Wright (Lucus), Whitney Whitehair, Morgan Whitehair, and Macy Whitehair; grandson, Charles Lucus Wright; mother, Louise (Fox) Whitehair; sister, Nancy Boklund (Doug); brother, Paul Whitehair (Cynthia); and numerous nieces and nephews. Chuck was preceded in death by his daughter, Skylar Whitehair; father, Paul Joseph "Joe" Whitehair; and one sister, Laura Jones (Jerry).Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at Albany United Methodist Church, 125 N. Broadway, Albany, with Pastor Jake Ohlemiller officiating. Burial will follow at Strong Cemetery in Albany.Friends may call at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, December 2, 2016 or at Albany United Methodist Church from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 3, 2016.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Albany United Methodist Church, 125 N.
