  • A life well lived

    We mourn the loss of Charles “Chuck” Henry Zibelin IV, who passed away on November 18, 2025, in Weaverville, North Carolina. He was born on December 21, 1959, to his loving parents Charles Henry Zibelin III and Aline Christine Edwards.

    Charles is survived by; his loving fiancé, Deborah Robinson, three children: Tim (Christy) Zibelin, Sarah (Jesse) Lindsey, Sherry(Phillip) Murray, and his sister Mary Beth Zibelin. He is proceeded in death by his father Charles, mother Aline, Sister Janeen O’Kelly, and his son Robert Lee Woody. He was a blessed grandfather to twelve grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild.

    Chuck was a graduate of North Buncombe High School and worked as a Maintenance Tech at Brentwood Nursing Home . He will be remembered for his sense of humor, love of family, and laugh. Chuck loved to enjoy life, fish, and listen to his music loud. You could usually catch him hammering down on some drums, and smiling. Chuck lived a full life full of laughter and memories. Near the end of his life he held tight to his family and drew closer to Jesus.

    Memorial service will be held at the Longs Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Weaverville on Saturday November 29th at 2:00pm. Services will be officiated by Rev. Andrew Thomas. There will be no public graveside services.

    May he rest in peace and his memory live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. Till we meet again dad, I love you.
