Charles G. Schaub, 90, of Bardstown, died Wednesday, Aug. 12, 2015, in Bardstown. He was born on Feb. 11, 1925, in Queens, N.Y., to the late Emil and Cynthia Wehringer Schaub. He worked for Bell Laboratories for 42 years as a project designer and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.He is preceded in death by his wife, Florence Haun Schaub.Survivors include his children, Chuck (Margaret) Schaub, of Pennington, N.J., and Susan (Michael) Boyd, of Bardstown; five grandchildren, Matthew Boyd, of Atlanta, Melissa Boyd and Megan Hibbs, of Bardstown, James "J.D." Schaub and Scott Schaub, of Pennington, N.J.; and eight great-grandchildren.A non-ceremonial cremation service was chosen. Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
