Charles Edward Turner, age 72, passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2024. He was preceded in death by his father, Marion M. Turner; brothers, David and Mike Turner and the mother of his children and friend, Brenda Lancaster Turner. 

He is survived by his children, Charles E. Turner, Jr. (spouse Kimberly) of Nashville, Frankie Turner Williams (spouse Kevin) of Rocky Mount and Matthew Brent Turner (spouse Megan), also of Rocky Mount; mother, Julia Christine Turner DeShields; siblings, Barbara Meyer (spouse Mike) of Creedmore, Lloyd W. Turner (spouse Rhonda) of Rocky Mount and Julia Faye Worrell (CT), also of Rocky Mount. He will also be missed by his grandchildren, Charles "Tripp" Turner, III( spouse Rihiannon), Michael Seth Turner (fiancé Hailey Cockrell), Hay'leigh Turner, Rachel Williams, Chase Williams, Kayden Turner and Mattie Turner and great-grandchildren, Oliver and Waylon Turner. 

Throughout his life, Charles was known for his kind heart, generous spirit, and unwavering devotion to his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
