LAUGHLIN Charles Chick Lewis Laughlin passed away on Thursday, November 3, 2016 in Jacksonville, Fl. He was born on June 28, 1933 in Cumberland, MD to Charles J. and Mildred L. Laughlin. Chick grew up in Westernport, MD and attended St. Peter's Catholic School. He retired from Westvaco Paper Mill and also as a salesman for Wheels and Rims in Jacksonville. He is survived by his beloved wife, Deanie Laughlin; sister, Marian Grady; brother, Robert Laughlin; four step-children: Carrie Sanders (John), Wendy Patterson (Rex), Joey Johnson, Robin Colaw (Jamie). He was affectionately known as Chickpa to his beloved grandchildren: Natalie, Dylan, Sammi, Tad, Madison, Tyler and Sydnie. Chick loved traveling, family gatherings and relaxing by the pool. The family is forever grateful for the love and support shown to them during this difficult time. A gathering will be held at a later time to celebrate Chick's wonderful life. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial contributions be made to Mayo Clinic Jacksonville, FL or a local Humane Society.
