Charles Murphy IV, 64, of Youngstown, Ohio, passed Friday, March 08, 2019. Charles was born to Charles A. Murphy III, and Ida Mae Murphy, October 25, 1954 in Youngstown, Ohio.

Charles graduated from Rayen High School in 1972 and soon after worked at Ohio Bell for many years as it transitioned to Ameritech and later AT&T. He had a love for jazz the likes of Rachelle Forelle's super human vocal range on"Inch Worm" to John Coltrane's amazing solo on "Blue Train". Charles always had a thirst for knowledge and most recently conducted self studies on African American history and politcal science. He loved to travel and was the best dressed man in any room. He was an amazing grandfather and always went out of his way to make sure his grandkids knew he was always thinking of them.

 
Charles is survived by his son Charles A Murphy IV (Monique Y), 6 grandchildren, Amani Nasir , Nashawn Arvant , Jayden Brandon , Angel Denise-Marie , Heaven Revenia-Nevaeh & Charles Albert Murphy VI.
