It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Charles Dixon, a beloved member of the Greenville community. Charles was born on January 1, 1950, in Greenville, Mississippi, and peacefully departed this world on July 31, 2023.

Charles was a true epitome of compassion, generosity, and kindness. Throughout his seventy-three years of life, he touched the hearts of countless individuals with his unwavering love for others. Known for his warm smile and gentle spirit, Charles had an undeniable ability to bring joy to anyone he encountered.

A resident of Greenville for his entire life, Charles was deeply dedicated to his community. He actively volunteered his time and resources to various charitable organizations, always striving to make a positive impact on the lives of those less fortunate. Charles believed that helping others was not just an obligation but a calling, and he approached this mission with unwavering fervor.

Charles had an insatiable love for nature and spent much of his time outdoors. He had a deep appreciation for the beauty of the Mississippi landscape, often expressing his gratitude for the serene surroundings that brought him solace. Charles was an avid gardener, and his backyard served as a place of tranquility and respite. He took great pleasure in tending to his flowers, nurturing them with care and watchful eyes.

He is survived by his loving wife of fifty years, Martha Dixon, his four children, Michael,Larry and Christopher , Greda and his adored grandchildren, Demarcus , Kadijah, D’Onna Micheal, Tatyanna , and Omarion.
