CHARLES DARNELL "PHAROAH" CHERRY, 51, of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed on August 29, 2022. Pharoh was born on November 13, 1970 in Chicago IL to Roosevelt Johnson and Margaret Cherry. Charles birth mom called him Pharoh. When he was five years old Margaret moved her and her kids to Los Angeles California. Charles had a flawed early childhood

When Charles was around the age of nine he went to live with mrs.mary Greenwood Williams, The years he spent with his mother mary was the best of his childhood. Charles attended school regularly, he was active in after school activities Charles was rewarded and praised for his accomplishments. Church was a must in the Greenwood home and ms. Mary stood Stern on this. The Greenwood's attended moreno valley Apostolic church. this is when Charles accepted Jesus in his heart. Charles spoke fondly on them years , for the first time in his young life he was safe in the structured household.ms mary remembers the night she welcomed the adorable smaller than an average nine year old in home, That night she gave Charles the nickname ( Cherry pie). Their last conversation was only a day before he passed away

Thoughout Charles life he held an unwavering faith in god , he continued attending church at Antelope Valley Christian Center in Lancaster California, he was one of the first members of the emerge group and was one of the first members to graduate the 12 week course. Spring of 2017 Charles was baptized. Charles had a great Testimony to share ,he would share his life experiences with those who surrounded him. In 2016 Charles met his wife susan and in may 2020 they united in holy matrimony to this union he gained four stepchildren Ben C Johnson Jr ( Tonisha) Jeremy Turrentine ( Telia) Dominique Turrentine Penny ( Rahmel) and Raven Turrentine. Charles enjoyed the simple things in life, he enjoyed music and the outside. His dream was to write and complete a book about his life. Charles was a jack of all trades from landscape to car repairs.

Charles joins his mom Margaret, Grandma Rosie, step brother Tony and two uncles Arthur and Chuck in Heaven. Charles is survived by his loving wife Susan Cherry his Mother Mary Greenwood Williams step dad mr.Lee ,five brothers and sisters Charles Jr , Valerie, Yolanda, shunna and augusta. For stepchildren and ten Beautiful Grandchildren who he loved very much Salah, Lil J, Lil Ben C, Tyani, Jeremiah, Jermany, Ronnie, Rose, Rylee and Julius , many relatives and Many Friends Charles ( Cherry pie ) will truly be missed
