Cecile “CeCe” Boyd was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, Great grandmother, sister, and friend. She left this world suddenly on February 9, 2021 at age 60.

She was born to Isabell and Robert Boyd on June 7th, 1960. After graduating from high school, Cecile chased her dreams to serve abroad in the Peace Corps where she met her husband, John Peters . Together, they had 3 children: Derek, Anastasia, and Shashonda.

Cecile loved spending time in the kitchen, creating delicious meals for her family. Neighborhood children would gather around the kitchen table for after-school cookies and loved listening to Cecile\'s stories about her travels. She loved classic music and filled her home with classical music. Cecile leaves behind 3 Children (Derek, Anastasia, and Shashonda) 4 grandchildren (jhane, Destiny , Malik, and Derek) and 2 great - grandchildren (Dallys and Demi).

A funeral service is scheduled for 11 am on February 18th, 2021 at March funeral home (4300 Wabash Avenue).
