Cathlene "Cathy" De Ann Azevedo Jan 13, 1957- Nov 6, 2016 Cathlene "Cathy" De Ann Azevedo went Home to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Sunday, November 6, 2016 in Ceres, CA at the age of 59. Cathy was born on Jan. 13th 1957, in Modesto, CA. She graduated from Hughson Union High School in 1975.  After high school, Cathy worked at Jensen's and Youngdales in Turlock, before her marriage to Ralph Azevedo, her high school sweetheart. The couple married on June 1st 1985. She and Ralph together worked, lived, and raised a wonderful family in Ceres, CA. Her children remember her as a wonderful mother who was very committed to her family and encouraged them to pursue their goals. She was always concerned about the well being of her family and always making sure they came first and they were taken care of. Cathy was truly a treasure to everyone; uniquely kind, loving and at the same time strong. As busy as she was working for the family business, being a homemaker and a mom, she still found time to always be the first person at your door when hard times hit. She always found a way to make you smile and laugh. If Cathy was your friend you were never truly alone. She was a dedicated individual who loved supporting not only her children but others succeed in FFA and 4H. She was an active and dedicated member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church including being a sister of Young Ladies Institute and participating with confirmation retreats.   Visitation will be Thurs., Nov. 10th from 4-8pm at Lakewood Memorial Park; the rosary will begin at 6pm. Funeral services will be held Fri., Nov. 11th, mass beginning at 10am, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Hughson, CA, with a burial following at Lakewood Memorial Park.
