Catherine Spurrier- Wright 58 of Powhatan, Arkansas passed away Saturday, September 13, 2008 in her home. Catherine was born on August 26, 1950 in Spokane, Washington to Warren & Betty Mae (Songer) Spurrier. Catherine was an Operating Engineer for heavy equipment for many years and most recently was a homemaker in her own home. Catherine is survived by her Husband Danny Wright, her Mother Betty Mae Spurrier of Cle Elum, her son Travis (Melissa)Tate and her daughter Brooke (Rob)Whisenhunt and 3 grandchildren. Catherine had 1 stepson Bill Fletcher and 3 stepdaughters Tina Perry, Danielle Wright and Angel Starks. Catherine's siblings Robert (Chris) Spurrier, Bill (Sandy) Spurrier, Skip (Robin) Spurrier and two sisters Susan (Cliff) Kuzminski and Bonnie Spurrier & Davy Simkins also survive her. Her Father Warren, her Sister Joan and her Brother David precede her in death. There will be a time of visitation Friday September 19th from 5pm-7 pm at Cascade Funeral Home Cle Elum, Wa. Services will be held Saturday, September 20, 2008 at the LDS Church on 4th and Columbia in Cle Elum at 1:00 pm with burial to follow at Laurel Hill Memorial Park in Cle Elum. Arrangements are under the care of Cascade Funeral Home in Cle Elum, Wa.
