ARMANINI, CatherineCatherine Armanini (née Regan) of Pleasantville, NY, died on Monday, October 31, 2016. She was 85 years old. She left us to join the love of her life, her husband Louis, who recently died in September. Mrs. Armanini was born on October 22, 1931 in New York City to Edward and Nora Regan. She attended Holy Name High School and Hunter College. She met Louis Armanini on a blind date and they were married in 1958 at Holy Name Church in New York City. Catherine was a stay at home Mom who raised four children in Pleasantville. She later went to work for Westchester County and became the head of billing at Westchester Medical Center. Catherine enjoyed playing bridge, reading, and spending time with friends and family. Mr. and Mrs. Armanini were residents of Pleasantville, NY for 45 years, later retiring to their home in Jupiter, FL. Catherine is survived by her brother, Edward Regan of New York City, and her four children. They are Lawrence Armanini of Northborough, MA, Claire Maino of Rutherford, NJ, Karen Clark of Jupiter, FL and Stephen Armanini of Antioch, CA. She is also survived by six loving grandchildren. They are Nicole and Kevin Garrett of White Plains, NY, Rachel and Audrey Clark of Jupiter, FL, David and Michael Armanini of Northborough, MA. The family will receive friends at the Beecher Flooks Funeral Home in Pleasantville, NY (Today) Thursday, November 2 from 9:00AM to 10:45AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Innocents Roman Catholic Church on Thursday at 11:00AM. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne, NY.
