Catherine Stone, of Hurt, Virginia, passed away on October 15, 2025, at the age of 90. She was born on May 15, 1935, and was known for her warm smile and kind heart.

Catherine was a beloved member of the community and dedicated much of her time to helping others through her work in the Church organization. She was a true pillar of strength and compassion, always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need.

When she wasn't busy with her charitable work, Catherine could often be found in the kitchen, indulging in one of her favorite hobbies—cooking. She loved nothing more than preparing delicious meals for her family and friends, always with a generous portion of love and laughter.

Catherine is survived by her devoted spouse, Charlie Stone, whom she has been married to for over 60 years Together, they raised six children: Leeroy Dews, Karl Stone, Andrew Stone, Charlie Stone Jr, Floyd Stone, and Doretha Stone. She also leaves behind one cherished grandchild Teresa Stone.

Catherine will be remembered for her unwavering kindness, her infectious laughter, and her fierce devotion to her loved ones. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
