Casey graduated from Yuma High in 1991 and was employed as a Sales Representative for a lavatory equipment company in Maryland. She loved to watch sports especially hockey, her favorite teams were the Phoenix Coyotes and the Denver Broncos. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 19, 2014 at 7 PM at Desert Valley Mortuary Chapel with Scripture Reading by Pastor Jay Vance from Morningside Southern Baptist Church. Eulogy reading by Mr. Robert Nichols. Surviving relatives are Daniel Medina and Karen Medina. Sons Austin and Shawn Mercer: Daughter Ashlei Sickles; Brothers Robert and Danny Nichols; Sister Bridgett Hershfeild: Grandson Cody Sickles; Sister-in-law Rosa Nichols; Husband Dan Straight; Nieces and Nephews Mackenzie Nichols, Machala Nichols, Kiersten Nichols, RJ Nichols, Aaron Hershfeild, Allison Hershfeild, Kaleb Nichols, Nichole Nichols: Great-grandmother Rafaela Medina.
