Carroll Don AmyxCarroll Don Amyx, 78, of Denton passed away Sunday, December 11, 2016 in Denton, Texas.He was born on March 5, 1938 to Lee and Opal Amyx in Springtown, Texas. Don married KSue Ann Harris in Sanger, Texas February 22, 1958.He is preceded in death by his wife, Sue Amyx, brothers, Thomas Amyx and Lee Amyx Jr., sister, Shirlene Hicks and his parents, Lee and Opal Amyx.Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at DeBerry Funeral Directors. Visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. prior to the service. Interment will be at Bolivar Cemetery immediately after the service.Don is survived by his daughters ,Donna Patton and Carol Amyx, both of Denton, grandchildren, Taylor Patton, Paige Wittenhagen and husband Jordan, sisters, Pie Beard of Sanger and Rosene Sebastian of Sanger, great-grandchildren Colten, Zane and Brittyn.
