Carrie Ruth Woods, 78 of Long beach, California, passed September 21, 2018, Carrie was born to Eddie Nunn and Addie Mae Woods, January 2 ,1940 , in Holly Bluff, Mississippi. In her early years her family moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma then in 1964 she moved with her boys to Long beach, California. Carrie was a great mother , sister and friend. She leaves to cherish her memory Six children. Freddie Nunn , James Woods(Tina Woods), Micheal Woods (Shahara Woods), Sonya Woods ,Myrna Woods, Christopher Woods (Demetria Woods).She also leaves to cherish her memory,Four siblings. Sisters, Doretha Patterson,Perci Nunn, and Lori Ann Pearson, and one brother Arther Pearson a host of grand and great grandchidren and nieces and nephews. Her children remember her as a good woman who helped others,  and was passionate about affecting the most positive change in people. Carrie Woods will truly be missed, we love you mama rest easy. Carrie was preceded in death by her father Eddie Nunn, mother  Addie Mae Woods, and sister Edie Wilson.
