Carolyn McDermid, 85, of Austin, Texas, passed away on January 15, 2025. She was born on March 8, 1939, to Robert and Sheryl. Carolyn married James in 1956 and they had two children, Jacqueline and Mary.

Carolyn was a loving spouse, mother, and grandmother. She adored spending time with her grandchildren, Allen and April. Carolyn had a passion for photography, reading classic books, and journaling. She had a knack for capturing the beauty in everyday moments and was always seen with a camera in hand.

Carolyn will be remembered for her kind heart, infectious laughter, and gentle spirit. She touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
