Services are under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home/Grape Creek.Carolyn was born on June 3, 1945, to Roland Richardson and Flossie Beard Richardson in Brownwood, Texas. The most important thing in life was being a wife, mother and grandmother. She was employed at Ethicon where she worked for many years until her retirement.She is survived by her loving husband of 18 and a half years, Bill Swift; children Virginia Cravens and husband Kevin and Russell Turner and Sandra Swift; grandchildren Courtney Clark ( Michael Loflin), Brandon Craig ( Breanna Andrews), Derek Swift (Addie Lee) Aaron Turner (Megan), Kyle Cravens (Tina), Brittany Craig, Crystal Avilla (Richard), Jackson Turner and Michelle Wooten; 15 great-grandchildren; her sisters, Mary Brown, Elizabeth Gibbs, Angela Pulliams and Joy Robinette; brothers and sisters-in-law Tedd Swift and wife Karen Swift, Annsylee Brooks and Rick and Vicki Swift; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.On line condolences may be made to shafferpioneer.com.
