Carolyn Giyer, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away on June 4, 2019 in Indianapolis, Indiana at the age of 72. She was born on August 5, 1946 to Thomas J. Kelso and Bonnie M. Fitzer Kelso. Carolyn is survived by her loving children, Angela Marilyn Thomas Giyer and Jeffery James Giyer.

Carolyn was a dedicated student who graduated from Warren Central High School in 1964. She continued her education at Ozark Bible College, where she earned her degree in 1991. Throughout her life, Carolyn worked and sang at Indian Creek Christian Church, where she touched the lives of many with her beautiful voice and kind spirit. She retired at the age of 50 to spend more time with her family.

Carolyn had a passion for spending time with her daughter, Marilyn, and together they enjoyed many hobbies and activities. She was a devoted grandmother to her grandchild, who she loved dearly.

Carolyn will be remembered for her warm smile, generous heart, and unwavering faith. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Indian Creek Christian Church in memory of Carolyn Giyer.
