Carolyn D. Hall1927 - 2014Carolyn D. Hall, 87, formerly of Kenosha passed away on Saturday, Dec. 20, 2014, at St. Francis Hospital in Milwaukee. Carolyn was born on March 31, 1927, in Bakersfield, Calif., to Fred and Caroline (Dean) Duns. She graduated from Bakersfield High School in 1944 and from Good Samaritan Nursing School in 1948. Carolyn married Donald Hall in Bakersfield, Calif., on Dec. 5, 1948, and moved to Kenosha. She worked as a surgical nurse at St. Catherines Hospital. In 1982 Donald and Carolyn moved to Los Osos, Calif., where she continued her career as a nurse at Frenchs Hospital. The couple then retired to Three Lakes, Wis., in 1991 and in 2012 Carolyn moved to Hales Corners to be closer to her daughter. She was preceded in death by, her parents; her husband, Donald in 1995; her son, Mark Steven in 1959 and her brother, Donald Duns.Carolyn is survived by, two daughters, Pamela (Vernon) Bowen and Laura (Robert) Daniels; two grandsons, Paul (Cindy) Bowen and Dale Bowen; five great grandchildren, Garrett, Emma, Big Daniel, Matthew and Little Daniel as well as other family and friends.Funeral services for Carolyn will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 29, 2014, at the Hansen-Lendman Funeral Home. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service. The family wishes to thank Forrest Ridge Senior Living for providing Carolyn with activities, friends and a home for two years.
