Carolyn Dianne Gann, 58, passed away on Monday, November 21, 2016 at her daughter's home in Randolph. She was born on April 15, 1958 in Vardaman to Rex Brassfield and Bertha Mae Clemons Brassfield. She loved children and helped take care of many, in addition to her own, during her life. Carolyn also enjoyed cooking, talking on the phone and playing cards. She leaves behind her children, Tina Boyle (Louis) and Adam Rowlett both of Randolph, and Jamey Rowlett (Jayme) of Houston; her step-children, Patricia Gann, Mandy Gann, and Steve Gann all of Calhoun County; her brothers, Stevie Brassfield and David Brassfield of Houston; her sisters, Virginia Gregory of Pontotoc, Wanda Atkinson and Katherin Hughes both of Woodland, Jo Cross of Houlka; twelve grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rex and Bertha Brassfield; her husband, Ray Gann Jr.; four brothers, one sister, one grandchild and one great-grandchild. Funeral services will be Wednesday, November 23 at 2:00 at Southern Funeral Chapel with Brother Perry Berryman officiating. Burial will follow in Amity Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, November 22 from 5:00 until 7:00 at Southern Funeral Chapel.
