Carolyn McDermid, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away on January 15, 2025 in Austin, Texas at the age of 89. She was born on March 6, 1935 to Robert and Marie in Austin, Texas. Carolyn is proceeded in death by her beloved husband Scott and her two devoted parents. Carolyn is survived by her daughter Kimberly and two grandchildren Allen and April. The family will be hosting a celebration of life at Carolyn’s home in Austin, Texas. Time and date has yet to be determined.

Carolyn married the love of her life, Scott, in 1958 and together they had one daughter, Kimberly. She adored her family and especially cherished spending time with her two grandchildren.

Carolyn had many hobbies that brought her joy throughout her life, including knitting, crafts, being with her grandchildren making memories, collecting photographs, and reading.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. However, her legacy will continue on in the lives of those she touched.
