Carolyn Elam, beloved wife of Linwood Elam, devoted mother to Latisha, Marco, Erik, and Mario, and cherished grandmother to ten grandchildren, passed away on April 2, 2025 in Brookneal, Virginia.

She was born on October 8, 1955 to James Moss and Bertha Gaines in Virginia. Carolyn was known for her love of music, gardening, cooking, and sewing. Her creativity and passion for life touched everyone who knew her.

She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing her. May she rest in peace.
