SEWARD, NEBRASKA - 83, passed away Wednesday, July 23rd 2014. Caroline was born on July 26, 1930 in St. Louis, Missouri to William and Irene (Maschmeier) Williams. She graduated from Maryland Heights High School in Maryland Heights, Missouri. On May 12, 1950 Caroline married Gerald Niebling at Zion Lutheran Church in Maryland Heights, Missouri. Caroline had a variety of jobs through the years. She worked as the school secretary at Salem Lutheran School in Black Jack, Missouri, LCMS Concordia Plans Office, LCMS Headquarters North American Ministries, Nebraska District Office Secretary to the District President and Lutheran Family Services in Sheboygan,Wisconsin. She worked very hard to put Kathy, Diane and Gerald through Concordia- Seward. In her free time Caroline enjoyed home décor, sewing, cooking, reading and spending time with her family. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Utica, Nebraska. Caroline prayed for her children and grandchildren every day. She believed in taking life one day at a time-”it's in the Lords' hands”. Caroline passed away on July 23, 2014 in Seward, Nebraska at the age of 83 years, 11 months and 27 days. Caroline is survived by her daughters, Diane (Jeffrey) Kosmala, Racine, Wisconsin, Kathryn (Robert) Brauer, Utica, Nebraska; grandchildren, Susie Kosmala, Joshua Kosmala (fiancee, Krystl Matson), Leah Kosmala, Danny Kosmala, Jared Kosmala, Robert (Brittany) Brauer, Michael (Mollie) Brauer, Caroline Brauer, Becky Brauer, Katie (Scott) Morris; great granddaughter, Avila Mary Brauer; brothers, John Williams, St. Louis, Missouri; brother-in-law, Rev. Dr. Glenn (P.K.) Niebling, Golden, Colorado; sister-in-law, Lois Daniels, Edmond, Oklahoma. Caroline was preceded in death by her parents, William and Irene Williams; husband, Gerald Niebling; brother, William Williams; and infant sister, Evelyn Williams. Visitation will be Tuesday - July 29, 2014. The Niebling Family will greet friends from 6:30 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church Utica, Nebraska. Service will be at 10:30 am - Wednesday, July 30th 2014, St. Paul Lutheran Church, 1100 D. St., Utica, NE 68456. Officiating: Pastor Jon Dunbar and Pastor Richard Gudgel.
