She was born on November 29, 1942, in Los Angeles to Angel Alvarez and Sophia Raya Alvarez. She is survived by her loving husband David Garcia, her brother Manuel Alvarez, and granddaughter Constance Grandsire of Nancy, France. Carol and David married in San Pedro on December 5, 1981, and were happily married 33 years. Carol will be remembered for her beautiful smile, her grace, and for the generosity and compassion she had for her family and many friends. She will forever remain in our hearts with love and affection.
