Carol Sue (DeSarro) HarperEAST FULTONHAM: Carol Sue (DeSarro) Harper, 70, of East Fultonham, passed away on Mon. Apr. 24, 2017 at her home. She was born on Jan. 16, 1947 in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Patsy and Bonnie Carol Smith DeSarro.Carol was a member of Central Trinity United Methodist Church, worked at Campbell's Grocery in South Zanesville before retiring and enjoyed spending winters at Traveler's Rest Resort in Dade City, Florida, where she enjoyed clogging. But her favorite thing to do was make memories with her grandchildren.Surviving are her loving husband of 51 years Paul Kenneth Harper, whom she married October 16, 1965. Two sons and daughters-in-law Paul Brian and Sheri Harper and Patrick Aaron and Larisa Harper. Three grandchildren A.J. Cassie, and Jordee Harper. Brother and sister-in-law David and Laura Harper. Sisters and brothers-in-law Paul and Cecile Pletcher and Sharon Harper. Aunts and uncles Larry and Diane Smith, Donald and Mary Smith, Katie DeSarro, Jane DeSarro, Kathleen DeSarro, and Sally DeSarro. Several nieces and nephews and their families. Carol was proud of her Italian heritage and leaves many cousins to mourn her loss.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister-in-law Patricia Lee Harper.No calling hours will be held. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Fri. Apr. 28, 2017 at Central Trinity United Methodist Church with Pastor Steve Judson officiating.
