Lynch, Carol MaeCarol Mae Lynch, age 85, a Manitowoc resident, passed away on Thursday, November 13, 2014 at the Harmony House of Manitowoc.Carol was born on May 24, 1929 in Osman, daughter of the late John and Rosella (O'Neil) Morris. She graduated 8th grade from St. Paul's Catholic School and later graduated from Manitowoc Lincoln High School with the class of 1947. On October 21, 1950 she married Jack Lynch at St. Paul's Catholic Church. He preceded her in death on June 13, 1992. Carol worked at Mirro for a few years and then she stayed home and raised three children. When the children were grown she went to work for J.C. Penny and worked there for 25 years, retiring in 1991. She was a past member of the St. Mary Rosary Society, a member of the St. Clare Society, a Eucharistic Minister for St. Mary's and also belonged to the J.C. Penny retirees club. Carol enjoyed visiting the elderly in their homes and at the nursing homes around town. She and Jack loved to travel around the U.S. and also abroad. They enjoyed life to the fullest as long as they could. She belonged to several card groups and really enjoyed being with all of her friends. Carol leaves behind a generous devotion of love to many close and dear friends. She really enjoyed her special phone calls with her granddaughter Christine and always waited for them.Survivors include two sons and one daughter-in-law: Michael Lynch, Traverse City, MI, Dean and Kim Lynch, Clover; one daughter and son-in-law: Bonnie and John Hayward, Verona; one granddaughter whom she loved so much: Christine Hayward. Many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was also preceded in death by two sisters and one brother-in-law: Mary Agnes Morris and Delores and Richard Rulseh; and two brothers and one sister-in-law: Michael and Jeanette Morris, and Cletus Morris.Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi on Marshall (1114 South 21st Street), Manitowoc, on Thursday, November 20, 2014. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be Rev. David Beaudry, with entombment to follow at Calvary Mausoleum, Manitowoc.The family will greet relatives and friends on Thursday November 20, 2014 at St. Francis of Assisi on Marshall (1114 S. 21st Street), Manitowoc, from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. .
