We are saddened to announce the passing of Carol Blair, born on January 26, 1944 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to her parents Buddy Jones and Willie Lee Barnes. She married her beloved spouse Walter Blair in 1960 and together they raised six children - Walter Jr., Paulette (and her spouse Richard Alston), Carol, Norma, Edward, and Jamel. Carol was also a loving grandmother to eight grandchildren.

Carol attended Vaux High School and later pursued a career as a homemaker. She dedicated her time to helping in the Adopted Mom to Many organization and was awarded the prestigious title of Best Mother Ever.

In her free time, Carol enjoyed cooking and cleaning, always ensuring a warm and welcoming home for her family and friends.

Carol passed away on July 9, 1992 due to her blood going to her heart. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her, but her memory will live on in the hearts of those she loved.
