Carol lost her6 year battle to Ovarian Cancer and passed away in the arms of her family. She was born on May 3rd 1941 to John and Edith Matter grew up in Pomona Calif. On April 9,1988 she married the love of her life Creighton W. Anfinson . She loved to travel and visit her children and grandchildren, she had a passion for crafting and spreading her creativity to her friends and family. She enjoyed Bridge ,Bunko, Bowling and her many friends. She is proceeded in death by her beloved husband Creighton and her son Bill Pierson. She is survived by her brothers Paul Matter, Albert (Geri) Matter and Larry Matter. her daughters Teresa (Billy) Fossen, Sherry Pierson and Carrie Garrett,11 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren and many neices and nephews. InLieu of services a Celebration of life is planned for Saturday October 22nd, at 2 pm at the family home.
