Carol Eva CarballoSt Lucie West, FLCarol passed away peacefully at her home with her husband by her side. Carol was born on July 5, 1933 in Elmwood Park, NJ to her parents, Bertrand and Eva Lane. Carol attended St. Joseph's Grammar and High School. Carol also graduated from Middlesex County College with a degree in Finance. Carol is survived by her loving husband, Al; her five children, Linda Pato, Allen Carballo, Paul Woerner, Jerry Woerner, and Tammy Gombas. In addition, Carol has 13 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Carol also leaves behind her dear sister, Joan Knapp of Mahwah, NJ.Early in her career, Carol held many secretarial positions for the city of Woodbridge, NJ and advanced to Assistant Manager of the NJ Action for Youth and served as a Counselor for 14 years. Carol was loved by all who knew her. Carol enjoyed boating, bowling, Bingo, raising orchids, gardening, counter cross stitching and devoting time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be sincerely missed by all who knew her. Carol and Al were married for 53 years.A Visitation will be held on Friday, April 7, 2017 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at Aycock Funeral Home, 1170 SW Bayshore Blvd, Port St Lucie, FL 34983. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at 10:00 AM at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 350 NW California Blvd, Port St Lucie, FL 34986.In lieu of flowers, family asked that donations be made to Hospice of the Treasure Coast.
