Carmelo Pérez, born on May 9, 2006, passed away on September 14, 2024, leaving behind a legacy that will forever be cherished by those who knew and loved him.

He was the beloved son of Shawn Jalbert and Victoria Pérez, and a devoted partner to Vanessa Smith. Together, they shared a beautiful daughter named Valentina Pérez, who was the light of Carmelo's life. He leaves behind sister Samantha Pérez (Indianapolis,IN) brother Markus Pérez (Indianapolis, IN) brothers Nicholas and Daniel Pérez (Lawrence, MA) nieces Evelyn Baldwin (Indianapolis, IN) Madeline Pryce (Indianapolis, IN) and many more.

Carmelo was a dedicated student who attended Nashoba Tech High School and graduated with honors in 2023. His passion for learning and growing never wavered, and he was always eager to take on new challenges and embrace new opportunities.

Throughout his life, Carmelo touched the hearts of many with his kindness, generosity, and big heart. He will be remembered for his infectious laughter, his unwavering loyalty, and his willingness to always lend a helping hand.

He leaves behind a grieving family and countless friends who will forever hold him close to their hearts. Though his time with us was cut short, Carmelo's spirit will live on in the memories and love he shared with those around him.
