We are saddened to announce the passing of Carman Murphy-Rice, who brought joy and laughter to all who knew her. Carman was born on May 27, 1991, in Stillwater, Oklahoma, to her loving parents William (Bill) Murphy and Jill Murphy Palma.

Carman married her beloved spouse Andrew Rice in 2025, and together they raised three beautiful children: Aiden Duenas , , Graciella (Ella) Duenas , and Rainey Rascon .

Carman attended R5 Grand Junction High School, graduating in 2009, and went on to further her education at IntelliTech. She worked as a Medical Assistant, touching many lives with her caring nature and professionalism.

Carman had a passion for reading and watching movies, and she especially loved to sneak her younger sister out of school to stand in line for hours waiting for new releases. Her sense of adventure and mischief will be dearly missed.

Carman Murphy-Rice's bright spirit will live on in the memories of all who knew and loved her. Rest in peace, dear friend.
