Carlton Edward Steele92, of Indianapolis, passed away on July 28, 2017.  He was born on March 13, 1925 in Lexington, KY.  Carlton was a 1949 graduate of the University of Kentucky. He was a WW II veteran where he served in the 8th Army Air Corps in England. Carlton retired from Bell South in 1987.Carlton was a devoted husband, father and granddaddy.  Survivors include his daughter, Sandra (Ed) Bowling; grandchildren, Reid (Teran) Bowling and Erin Bowling; great-grandson, Wyatt Bowling.Friends and family will gather on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 from 5 - 7 p.m. (CDT) in Glenn Funeral Home, Owensboro, KY.  A Committal Service will be held on Thursday, August 3, 2017 at 1 p.m. (EDT) in Lexington Cemetery, Lexington, KY.In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Carlton, may be given to the University of Kentucky, School of Engineering.Please visit www.busselfamilyfunerals.com to read Carlton's complete obituary. Arrangements: Bussell Family Funerals, Carmel-Westfield.
