Carl L. Young, IVYorkCarl Leroy Young IV, 39, passed away unexpectedly on October 24, 2016 after fighting a long battle with addiction.  Carl was born on November 1, 1976 in York to the late Maria T. Matysek and Carl L Young III. He was the loving husband of Marissa (Collins) Young and in their 20 years together, they had three beautiful boys, Carl V, Ethan and Myles. Carl's passions throughout his life included skateboarding, drawing, playing basketball and helping others. Carl passed along his love of music and sneakers to all three of his children, who are now just as obsessed as he was. Carl was the dedicated brother and uncle to Becky Daigle and her son, Alexander Fogle. He was the devoted grandson to the late Olga and Boleslaw Matysek. He shared much love and many laughs over the years with the extended families of Jen, Jamie, Gretchen and Bridget. He will be sadly missed by all.The visitation and celebration of life will be held at John W. Keffer Funeral Home, 902 Mt. Rose Ave., on Sunday October 30, 2016 from Noon to 2 p.m.  KefferFH.com
