Carl Seiler, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on December 7, 2024, in Surprise, Arizona at the age of 85. He was born on December 26, 1938, to Harry and Mabel Seiler.

Carl was married to his loving wife, Laurel Miller-Seiler, in 1960 until her passing in October 2022. Together they raised eight children: Lori (spouse David Scott), Sharon Young, Mark Seiler, Kurt Seiler, Bradley Seiler, Cathy (spouse Aaron Hillaire), Connie (spouse Duane Taylor), and Karen Seiler. Carl was also a proud grandfather to 20 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.

Carl attended Mayfield schools and later served in the Air Force. He went on to open his own Autobody repair shop in New York and Washington, where he made many friends before retiring in 2023.

In his free time, Carl enjoyed fishing, camping, and spending quality time with his family. He will be remembered for his kind heart, sense of humor, and love for life.

Carl Seiler will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, but his memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.

A Memorial Service and burial will be held on June 15, 2025 at 3 pm at Kingsboro Cemetery, 53 E. State St. Gloversville NY.
