He passed away peacefully at home in Shasta, CA on 9/28/17 surrounded by his loving family.He was an exceptional father, grandfather, great grandfather, friend and colleague. Those who knew him recognized him for his honesty, quick wit, superb sense of humor, intellect, loyalty, eidetic memory and his endless curiosity. In his later life he enjoyed 17 years of rich companionship with his dearest and most beloved friend Marianne Olstad.
