It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Candy Richardson, who left us on February 3, 2026, in Augusta, Georgia. Born on October 14, 1972, to Billy Branch and Cathy Best, Candy brought light and joy to everyone she met.

Candy was a devoted mother to her two children, Chelsea Young (spouse Jeremiah Young) and Maxwell Richardson Jr., whom she loved more than anything in the world. Her grandchildren brought her immense happiness, and she cherished every moment spent with them.

Candy had a contagious laughter and a smile that could light up a room. She was known for her kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for her family and friends. Her love for life was infectious, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Although our hearts are heavy with grief, we take comfort in knowing that Candy is now at peace, watching over us from above. May her memory bring us joy and comfort in the days ahead.
