Calvin raised his family in McMinnville, Oregon. He was born on November 8, 1941 in Arkansas. Calvin was 75 years old. Calvin was married to Ruth Hovee Majors, and they raised seven children: Calvy, David, Benjamin, Jacob, Mary, Heather, and Joseph. He also has three loving adopted children: Daniel, Kathy and Lynette. He has 33 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Calvin was the oldest sibling in a family of eight children. His parents, R.G. and Nova Majors, raised their family in the Willamette Valley. Surviving are siblings Robert, Lola, Claude, Melba, Richard, Larry, and Rebecca. Calvin was a small child in Arkansas when he and his family moved to the west. He honorably and lovingly served in the United States Navy. Upon his return from his adventures, he found a sweet family and started his lifetime of service as a father, model citizen and devoted Christian.Services will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at 10:30 am at the McMinnville, Oregon Latter-day Saint Chapel. Calvin will be buried with his beloved wife, Ruth, in Valley View Memorial Park Cemetery, Newberg, OR. To leave online condolences, please visit www.macyandson.com
